(Above) A full house assembles at the annual Holiday Dinner on December 9, sponsored by Vintage Bank, Jim’s Propane, and Fleming Feed & Grain. Be sure to thank them when you see them. A choice of ham or turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, a salad and dessert was served, along with generous helpings of visiting with neighbors and friends. Having eaten, the group listens to a performance by the Bluestem Honor Choir conducted by Jeff Eastman and shown at the left of the picture.
(Middle) The Bluestem Honor Choir is made up of 4th through 6th grade students, who audition for a spot, and must maintain good grades.
(Lower) A craft and bake sale went on for most of the day, offering cookies, breads, candy and other home made goodies, along with quilted or hand made caps, scarves, and the like.
